Carebears are comming to Town!!!

Its Friday! But then again, Being on Maternity (which frankly i'm starting to enjoy it more and more) Everyday is a weekend for me.

To explain, why I didn't like being on Maternity was because the lack of money, You only get 55% of your earnings,(of what you made last year) but your bills never decrease that much!!! LOL. not so much we still make ends meet and have some left over i just can't plan that Going To Toronto Trip that i was going to do, with our taxes. We got Blair's old car up and running instead of buying a second vehicle so we were going to take our taxes and go up to toronto to visit our neice, and blair's brother and SIL.. Although our taxes didn't agree with us, and said we should stay home. i just hate to see next year taxes!!!! . I am hoping to get some money saved now once i go back to work to go away though, I really want to make a trip to the united states for an overnight trip :) I Really enjoyed going across the border last time. Anyways, Back to the story that i waddled off from, The reason why I wanted to go back to work was because i'm not use to having all this time off. I've been off work since November so obviously i'm starting to crack, Although our second car was took off the road for the winter, it left me stuck inside my house which probably made me feel like "oh i wants to get back to work!" Anyways, we got our second car back, new paint job and all, so now i have the newer car back to my itty bitty self to do and go with the children as i please.. so going back to work isn't in my thoughts no more, I can get out for some socialization now!! LOL, way before getting out was pending on if Blair was working or not and he always seemed to be working on Days that i had something planned.

I can't belive its Mother's day weekend already. I am going to Priceclub tomorrow morning and geting some flowers for both our mothers, you can get two dozen roses for 18.99, i'm gonna seperate and give 12 to each mother. can't complain for 9.99 bascically for a dozen roses. I also invited blairs mom and dad and my mom and dad (whom i yet to invite.) to come over For Mother's Day Supper, I'll be cooking a Jiggs Dinner. Although.. i'm half of the mind to cancel till next weekend. BUT who knows ill sit on it overnight, i will buy the vegetables tomorrow, if I go ahead with it. Blairs mom doesn't get off work till 4:00 so its kind of a rush to come from work to my house sorta deal, so Who knows, maybe next weekend i can have it for Dinner not supper. Might be a better plan.

Today, i went and bought Claire tickets to the Carebears, at a local theatre. they were 28.50 plus tax, which wasn't a bad price, i've certainly paid more before. I found out there is sucha thing called "LAP CHILD" . becausly any child 2 and under, can sit on your lap and watch, which meaning i only have to buy ONE ticket. (why didn't i think of this before.) Now, for everyone who knows claire. She doesn't sit on your lap... NOR does she sit in her own seat!! She always runs up to the front, and watchs. I luckly got FRONT ROW "A" tickets, SO she can be in front of me watching the show, and i can sit and watch..lol.. My friend valerie is going to be doin the same thing. I was only going to be buying one ticket, but she called (and was the one who told me that the concert was comming) and asked me to buy her a ticket, since i'm the only fool who's going down to stand in line for 1 hour and half !! i went there , and there was still three people in front of me, One of them being there since 9am! nuts!! Looks like Carebears is more popular than max and ruby thats for sure.. at least it looked by the turn-up. I only showed up 10:50am, (not 10:30am like i did this morning) and i was first in line then. once i showed up, it was like give 10 mins, it was a long drag out the doors. I was lucky i guess to get front row tickets.. Hopefully claire will like them, we've had two good shows, and one bad show since we've seen. Franklin's Christmas , was ahit, DOODLEBOPS was a miss, but claire loved max & ruby..

Anyways thats about it. Hope you guys have a good weekend! I was going to go to bell island tomorrow, but we got a birthday party 12-2!
